KCUT - Code to Generate Minimal Cut Sets for Fault Trees.

KCUT is software to generate minimal cut sets for fault trees.

5.         METHOD OF SOLUTION

KCUT expands a fault tree into cut sets and deletes non minimal cut sets.  KCUT takes Boolean equations as input so that a fault tree should be converted into Boolean form.

6.         RESTRICTIONS OR LIMITATIONS

Size and complexity of the fault tree.

7.         TYPICAL RUNNING TIME

      Depends on the complexity of the fault tree model. Most of the standard KCUT examples take from a few seconds to an hour.

IBM PC.

PC Windows NT and XP.
