RSIC CODE PACKAGE PSR-181

1. NAME AND TITLE

DORGLIB: An Interactive Program for Displaying Nuclide Decay and Generation Data Based on ORIGEN Data Library.

DATA LIBRARIES

CCC-217/ORIGEN

DLC-38/ORYX-E

The ORIGEN libraries used are ORIGEN-73 Light Element, ORIGEN-73 Actinide, and ORIGEN-73 Fission Products. The libraries taken from ORYX-E are ORIGEN-76 Light Element, ORIGEN-76 Actinide, ORIGEN-76 Fission Products, ORIGEN-79 Light Element, ORIGEN-79 Actinide, and ORIGEN-79 Fission Products.

2. CONTRIBUTOR

Power Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Development Corporation (PNC), Tokyo, Japan

3. CODING LANGUAGE AND COMPUTER

Fortran IV and Assembler Language; FACOM M-series.

4. NATURE OF PROBLEM SOLVED

DORGLIB displays ORIGEN library data interactively on the graphic display terminal TEKTRONIX T-4014. The data and figures displayed on the terminal are as follows:

(1) Table of nuclides and their half-lives for each element.

(2) Table of half-life, data for decay scheme, energy released by decay, natural abundance and neutron cross sections for each nuclide.

(3) Figure of production and decay routes in reactor for each nuclide.

5. METHOD OF SOLUTION

DORGLIB is executed interactively using commands. The commands for defining library define the type of data (light elements, actinides, or fission products).

Nine libraries are used in DORGLIB. These libraries are derived from CCC-217/ORIGEN and DLC-38/ORYX-E.

6. RESTRICTIONS OR LIMITATIONS

None noted.

7. TYPICAL RUNNING TIME

DORGLIB is executed interactively under the time-sharing environment. Response time is the same as the response of the time-sharing operation.

8. COMPUTER HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

DORGLIB is operable on the FACOM M-series computer with a TEKTRONIX T-4014 graphic terminal. This should be compatible with the IBM computers.

9. COMPUTER SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

DORGLIG is operable on a level H-extended Fortran IV compiler with OPTIMIZE(2) parameter. The Terminal Control System (TCS) - PLOT10 (TEKTRONIX) is needed for the graphics work.
