None provided. The data can be retrieved using those programs in PSR-117/MARS that manipulate data in CCCC format.

4. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND AND INFORMATION

The previous library developed for fast reactor neutronics at BARC (DLC-73/GARG) had no anisotropic expansion data and was taken from a mixture of ENDF/B-III and -IV. BARC-35 was developed from ENDF/B-IV to provide more complete basic multigroup cross-sections for neutronics and safety studies of thermal, fast, and fusion-fission hybrid systems.

5. APPLICATION OF THE DATA

The BARC-35 library is in the CCCC-III format that can be used in the PSR-129/SPHINX code for neutronics calculations using diffusion or transport theory.

6. SOURCE AND SCOPE OF DATA

The PSR-105/MINX code, modified for a CDC Cyber computer, was used in the production of P3 multigroup data for 57 elements from ENDF/B-IV. The 35 neutron energy groups cover the energy range from 15 MeV to 0.005 eV, and the data are in the form of cross sections (ISOTXS) and resonance self-shielding factor (BRKOXS) files.

Data are provided for the following elements and isotopes:

1H, 2H, 3H, 3He, 4He, 6Li, 7Li, 9Be, 10B, 11B, 12C, 14N, 16O, F, Na, Mg, Al, Si, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, ZIRC2, Nb, Mo, Cd, Sm, 151Eu, 153Eu, Gd, Dy, 175Lu, 176Lu, 181Ta, 182W, 183W, 184W, 186W, Pb, Th, 233U, 234U, 235U, 238U, Np, 238Pu, 239Pu, 240Pu, 241Pu, 242Pu, 241Am, 243Am, Cm.

7. DISCUSSION OF THE DATA RETRIEVAL PROGRAM

The BINX code is required to convert the data from card image to form prior to its use in other applications. This and other useful programs are available as part of PSR-117/MARS.
