RSIC DATA LIBRARY DLC-048

1. NAME AND TITLE OF DATA LIBRARY

PVC: 36 Group, P5, Photon Interaction Cross Sections for 38 Materials in ANISN Format.

2. NAME AND TITLE OF DATA RETRIEVAL PROGRAMS

No retrieval program is included in the package.

3. CONTRIBUTOR

Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

4. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND AND INFORMATION

PVC was converted from AMPX interface form into ANISN card image form.

5. APPLICATION OF THE DATA

The data can be used in the calculation of photon energy group boundaries.

6. SOURCE AND SCOPE OF DATA

The AMPX interface data are available in DLC-41/VITAMIN-C. The conversion was done using the NITAWL module of AMPX. The materials available in PVC are as follows:

H, He, Li, Be, B, C, N, O, F, Na, Mg, Al, Si, P, S, K, C, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zr, Nb, Mo, Ag, Cd, Sn, Eu, Ta, W, Pb, Th, U, Pu.

7. DISCUSSION OF THE DATA RETRIEVAL PROGRAM

Not applicable.

8. DATA FORMAT AND COMPUTER

BCD/EBCDIC card images, Fortran IV; IBM 360.

9. TYPICAL RUNNING TIME

Not applicable.
