The P522DOS1.ZIP file contains a PC version that runs under
WindowsXP.
RSICC compiled and tested TRUMP-PC on a on a Dell Pentium IV 2.8 GHz
running Windows XP S.P. 2.0. The executable included in the package
was created using Lahey/Fujitsu Fortran 95 Release 5.70C.
Also included in this package is P522DOS0.EXE, which contains the
old CDC and IBM mainframe code systems.
The CDC and IBM versions were transferred to RSICC through the Energy
Science and Technology Software Center. These versions were not tested
or modified when they were transferred to RSICC and re-released in
2003. A Fortran IV compiler was required on CDC. The IBM version
required both a Fortran IV compiler and an assembler. Modifications
would certainly be required to run these on newer computers. They
are being retained for archival purposes.
The CDC version of TRUMP was developed at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory
in 1972. In 1977, the code was converted to run on IBM 360 at Oak Ridge
National Laboratory. TRUMP was previously released distributed by RSICC
as SCA-3 in the 1970s. The PSR-199/HEATING7 package is generally
recommended over TRUMP.
