To unzip the tar file, assume your CD drive is  called "cdrom" 
on your Unix system and type:

PARET-ANL was tested at RSICC on the following systems:
  Micron P3 650 mHz running Windows 2000 with GNU77 2;
  Dell PowerEdge 2300 running Redhat Linux Version 7.0 with GNU77 2.96;
  SUN UltraSparc 60 running SunOS 5.6 with GNU77 5.23. 

A PARET-ANL executable is included with the pc version of PARET-ANL.
It was created with a Lahey Fortran 95 compiler.  A LINUX executable
(called paretx) is also included with the UNIX/LINUX version of the
code.  It was created using GNU77 2.96.
