Information on Installation of LEPRICON The LEPRICON system was developed on the IBM 3033 under MVS using the FORTRAN-H compiler (JCL procedure FORTHCLG). Some modules were run using the FORTRAN-H Extended Enhanced compiler (JCL procedure FORTQCLG). The IBM FORTRAN VS compiler was used for testing the system on an IBM 3033 under MVS. The language flag must be set to compile using level 66 conventions. The LEPRICON module (file 23 including CONV, SEND, PREP, ADJUST, and other programs) must be compiled with the optimize switch set to 1. All other modules may be compiled with OPT=3. The JCL files 29-34 compile, link and execute sample cases using the H and Q compilers. The DSN's and file numbers for the source and input files correspond to those listed on the RSIC tapelist. The system reads the ELXSIR, SENPRO and COVERX files in binary form. BCBN in file 40 can be used to read the ANISN-formatted ELXSIR data and write a binary library. The SEND and CONVERT modules of LEPRICON are used to convert the sensitivity and covariance files, respectively, between card-image and binary. Examples of these runs are included in the JCL file 38. After the libraries are converted to binary, the sample cases can be executed in any order. File 34 executes the LEPRICON ADJUSTMENT module using standard data. File 38 executes the LEPRICON ADJUSTMENT module using the updated FU data in files 36 and 37. The NCASE parameter on the 1$$ card of the PREP input (read on unit 5) has been changed to direct LEPRICON to read the reactor flux calculations performed using updates of the ENDF/B-V Mod 3 iron cross sections, i.e., ID's 182-189 in the ELXSIR library. All parameters in the sample data file were not modified for the FU case, so no special significance should be attached to the results. DOTSYN and TIMEPATCH sample cases read DOT R-Z and R-theta flux tapes. These are available only in binary form and, therefore, can be used only on IBM mainframe computers. ISOPLOT4 requires DISSPLA and additional FORTRAN routines. Because the complete ISOPLOT4 source is available in the PSR-155/DOGS package (for either IBM or CRAY computers), it was not tested in the LEPRICON system.
