It has also run on an IBM 3033 under MVS. It was not tested or modified when it was transferred through the ESTSC to RSICC and released in May 2003. Files spirtnrc.for and steam67.for must be compiled and linked together. To implement SPIRT-NRC, input and output files must be defined as logical units 1 and 6, respectively. The control information (spirt.jcl) contains commands for compiling and executing SPIRT-NRC in both IBM MVS and VM/CMS environments. SPIRT-NRC was written for IBM mainframes and has not been run on a PC.
