To install FRAMES 1.7/GENII 2.10 on a PC running Windows, run
GENIISetup2Jun2010.exe. 

It is best to select the "Complete" setup type. The installer will create
a c:\FRAMES subdirectory which contains the FRAMES and GENII 2 executables as 
well as data files and examples. Source codes are not included in this release.

Note: you must be logged on as administrator to install GENII 2.10. If you are 
running Windows 2000, the code should install directly.  If you are using 
Windows XP, you will get a message near the end of the installation process 
that "MDAC is not compatible with this version of Windows" - this is just an 
informative message that some of the components needed by FRAMES/GENII are 
already part of XP; just click on the "Cancel" button and the installation will 
complete correctly.  No error messages were experienced during the install on 
Windows 7.

The installer will place a Launch FRAMES icon on your desktop with which you 
can start the program.
