To extract the Windows file, mount the distribution CD and click on 
c693dos0.exe.   29MB is required to extract all files. 

To unzip the tar file, assume your CD drive is  called "cdrom" 
on your Unix system and type: 
     gzip -dc /cdrom/c693tar0.gZ | tar xvf -
28MB is required to extract all files.

ANITA-2000 was tested at RSICC on the following systems:
  Micron P3 650 mHz running Windows 2000 with Lahey 95 v5.5; 
  Dell PowerEdge 2300 running Redhat Linux Version 7.0 with GNU77 2.96;
  IBM RS/6000 Model 270 running AIX 4.3.3 with XLF 7.1 and XLC 4.4

An ANITA-2000 executable (called ANITA4M.exe) is included with the pc 
version of ANITA-2000.  It was created with the Lahey Fortran 95 v5.5 
compiler on a P3 under Windows 2000.

Before runing ANITA-4M, the service program MODBIN must be executed
to prepare the direct access binary library used by the main code.
The ANITA-4M code runs as follows:

   anita4m<input.file>output.file

MODBIN and GRANITA run interactively.  Input to MODBIN is one of the
included libraries.  Output is a direct access binary file "lib175".
Input to GRANITA is the ".inv" (inventory) file produced by ANITA-4M.
Output from GRANITA is the PostScript file "granita.eps".
