This Sun version is functionally equivalent to the IBM RS/6000 version of CALOR95, which was last updated June 1998. The Sun package was converted from the IBM RS/6000 package. Users attempting to install CALOR on a computer other than Sun Sparc must retrieve the system-dependent routines from the CERN Program Library. There may be a charge, and registration with CERN is required. This can be done through the www from the following URL. http://wwwcn.cern.ch/asdcgi/listcernlibfaqs.pl/1 After registering, one may retrieve libpacklib.a via ftp to 128.141.202.89. The /pub/asis directory includes many system-dependent subdirectories. For example, files for SGI IRIX 5.2 may be retrieved by typing the following: ftp asisftp.cern.ch cd /pub/asis/sgi_52/cern/95a/lib for the SGI binary get libpacklib.a quit
