Note:  The code was tested at RSIC on a Sun Sparcstation 5 under
       the SUN OS 5.3 operating system, using the Sun FORTRAN 2.0
       and C 2.0.1 compilers.

       The code was also tested on an IBM RS/6000 Model 590 under
       AIX 3.2.5 using the xlf90 3.2.2 and c compilers.

     DANTSYS runs on these systems:

NOTE: The dant/threedant/trans3d subroutines maswep3e.F and maswep3n.F are 
      not called by DANTSYS.  Users of the xlf 3.2.2.3 compiler must delete 
      maswep3e.F before invoking gmake, or fatal compilation errors will 
      terminiate gmake.  It is not known to cause a problem with any other
      compiler. While maswep3n.F does not cause trouble, it may also be deleted.

      In the March 17, 1997 update, 2 routines were modified to correct a problem
      of overfilling a string (SITOP).  The subroutines tolcm.F and perr.F are
      located in subdirectory dant/input.
