The fortran source code is also enclosed. The executables were tested at RSICC on a Pentium IV running Windows XP SP2 and were also tested under Windows Vista. No significant changes were made to the source codes. Additional details are provided in the ANISN notes file. This update was necessary because Lahey F77L3-EM/32 Version 5.1 executables in the previous release (and included in the Anisn-OLD directory) are incompatible with WindowsXP and generate stack fault errors when invoked. Other older mainframe and workstation versions of ANISN-ORNL are included in this package because the source files contain machine-dependent coding worth preserving. These versions are preserved in subdirectory Anisn-Old. They have not been modified. The ANISN code originated in the 1960's. The Anisn-Old subdirectory contains brief information identifying files. Subdirectory Version CCC254A IBM 3033 CCC254B CRAY XMP-2 CCC254C VAX CCC254D IBM RS/6000 CCC254H windows NT The CCC-650/DOORS3.2a package can calculate one-, two-, and three-dimensional discrete ordinates neutron/photon transport using ANISN, DORT and TORT. Codes in the DOORS package can run under Windows, Linux and some Unix systems. The new Windows version of ANISN-ORNL is an update of the previous PC version which was derived from the VAX version with some code segments or subroutines lifted from the INEL version of ANISN/PC that is distributed as RSICC code package CCC-514. ANISN-ORNL differs from the INEL version primarily in that this code can read ANISN format cross sections in the binary "unformatted" file named ANISN4.DAT. Even though there are some differences for input specifications, the ANISN/PC manual is easier to understand and is available upon request to ANISN-ORNL users. ******************************************************************************
